Prescription Refill
Prescription refill online, reviewed by a licensed doctor
Skip the waiting room. Tell us what you need, and a licensed European doctor reviews your repeat prescription — usually within 2 hours.
An online prescription refill lets you renew a medication you already take, without booking a GP appointment or sitting in a waiting room. You describe your medication, dosage, and pharmacy; a licensed doctor in our clinical network reviews the request against your history and either approves it, asks a follow-up question, or tells you a video consultation is needed instead.
This is designed for repeat, ongoing prescriptions — the kind of renewal your regular doctor would normally sign off on in a two-minute appointment. It is not a way to get a first-time prescription, a controlled substance, or a diagnosis for a new condition; those cases are routed to a full consultation so a doctor can assess them properly.
Every refill is reviewed and signed by a doctor registered with their national medical council before it's issued — Cira's AI nurse structures your request and checks basic eligibility, but it never approves or signs a prescription itself.
Who this is for
- You take a regular medication and simply need your existing prescription renewed.
- Your GP appointment is weeks away but your current prescription is running out.
- You're travelling and need a valid prescription accepted at a pharmacy in another EU country.
- You've run out of a repeat medication over a weekend or holiday and can't reach your usual doctor.
How it works
Tell us what you need
Share your medication name, dosage, and preferred pharmacy. Mention any recent changes to your health or medication.
A licensed doctor reviews your case
A doctor in our clinical network reviews your request, medical history, and any recent vitals before deciding whether to approve it.
Your e-prescription is sent
If approved, a valid digital e-prescription is sent to your chosen pharmacy and to you as a PDF — accepted at any pharmacy in the EU.
Not a diagnosis, not for emergencies. Cira's AI provides guidance and triage only; it does not diagnose or treat. Every clinical document is reviewed by a licensed doctor before it's issued. If you're experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
